Service Description
Toenail surgery will only be carried out after an initial assessment to see if you are eligible to have this procedure carried out. Not all nail problems require surgery. Some people may need GP permission depending on their medical history.
Full or partial nail avulsion is carried out under local anaesthetic, with or without phenolization (which will be discussed with your Podiatrist). Allow 1 hour for procedure, bring a designated driver with you on the day of surgery and a pair of flip-flops or sliders to wear on you feet after surgery.
